TIGER programs can be used by professional foresters and motivated
non-foresters to help manage woodlands in the midwestern and northeastern
United States for the following states: CT, DE, IA, IL, IN, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN,
MO, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, WV, VT, WI.

There are 3 TIGER programs that you might use.

TIGER for Woodlands and Compartments
is the central program and is used to
process basic forest inventories and estimate the growth of the forest, with or
without a simulated thin, over 20 years.

TIGER for Stratified Sampling combines inventories done on multiple
compartments within a woodland and estimates almost everything estimated by

TIGER for Estimating Basis estimates a woodland's value some years ago,
based on a current inventory of the woodland. This can be used to estimate the
basis of the woodland which has tax implications
